During the mad rush of fall wedding season, Studio R took time to assist the Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry again with the annual gala. This year’s theme was Return to Wonderland and WOW was it a hit! Whimsical save the dates and invitations created by Studio R gave attendees a glimpse of the magical night that was in store. Above are a few photos taken by expert photographer Andy Hagedon, from the stationery created for the night of the event. The magical evening raised more that $86,000 for Lowcountry children.

Studio R custom welcome packets and favor tags
How great would it be to arrive to your hotel, excited about the upcoming weekend events and find these delightful welcome gifts waiting for you! Personally speaking, we couldn’t think of a better way to thank your guests for traveling near and far to celebrate your special day! We love it when our brides get creative… both Jessica and Emily’s custom designed favor bags included specialties from the lowcountry. Both of these brides had family members bundle up their favorite homemade treats, so their guests could enjoy them throughout the wedding weekend! We have so much fun designing labels, bag tags and weekend itinerary packets that adorn the rustic canvas bags. Each bride has such a unique design sensibility that the variety of welcome ideas never cease to amaze us!

A Grassroots movement
Studio R is pleased to announce their support of the 10% Shift movement.
It is a very simple idea, yet one that can have a profound effect on our local economy. The 10% Shift movement encourages individuals to shift 10% of their annual budget from non-local businesses to Local Independents in order to build a strong local economy. According to statistics, if five million households in the Lowcountry participated in this movement, well see for yourself…the statistics are quite impressive!

Life revolves around color, or maybe it is defined by color…
Today I discovered Colorstrology by Michele Bernhardt. By entering your specific birth date through this interactive website, we were able to gain insight and inspiration into the factors that shape our distinct personalities and in turn draw us to a particular color. So cool!
My personal Colorstrology (October 22) revealed that I was Dusty Aqua (Pantone 12-5506). Funny, that my entire house should feature this very color…. and the explanation was right on! See for yourself, what is your Colorstrology say about you? We would love to hear from you!
