ABOUT RACHAEL
Rachael Blessinger, the founder and principal designer at STUDIO R, began her design career in New York City. After graduating with a BFA from Alfred University she headed to the big city where she slaved away as a retail store designer – not exactly what she had envisioned. Yearning for a change of pace, she moved to San Francisco to pursue an MFA in graphic design at the Academy of Art College. She graduated, worked as a designer for a well-known San Francisco based design firm, and was content… almost! One final move to Charleston, South Carolina and she finally found her place. Warm weather, beaches… perfect. It also happens to be one of the most desirable locations in the country to get married. Utilizing her skills as a professional graphic designer she turned her card-making hobby into a booming career. With so many brides, custom wedding invitations are in high demand, and so… STUDIO R was created.
